Rappahannock Concert
Association program set

Wind Soloists of New York will present a Rappahannock Concert Association program at 7:30 p.m. January 30 at the Northumberland High School Auditorium in Claraville.

Pianist Pedja Muzijevic will join the Wind Soloists for this performance.
Members of Wind Soloists of New York have performed collectively with a variety of ensembles including the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra and Boston Symphony, said Phyllis Neal. They have performed at Carnegie Hall and at Lincoln Center.
For the January 30 concert, the quintet will include Elizabeth Janzen, flute; Thomas Gallant, oboe; Romie de Guise-Langlois, clarinet; Cynde Iverson, bassoon and Wei-Ping Chou, horn, said Neal.
Muzijevic has performed with the Atlanta Symphony, Residentie Orkest in The Hague, Milwaukee Symphony, Dresden Philharmonic and Shinsei Nihon Orchestra in Tokyo, she said. His solo recitals include such venues as Alice Tully Hall in New York, National Gallery in Washington, D.C., Da Camera of Houston and Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile.
The program will feature works by Klughardt, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann and Poulenc, added Neal.
