Celtica, a six-piece Celtic band from Norfolk, will highlight the entertainment, according to museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn. The group will be making its first appearance in Kilmarnock and will perform twice.

Karen Thompson will return with her border collies. A sheep herding demonstration will take place at the dog park area, twice during the event, said Ashburn.

The Memory Lane Car Show is a non-judged fun event with the first 125 entries receiving a plaque and a commemorative glass. Three special awards will be given during the show, he said. The owner of the oldest vehicle along with the mayor’s choice and the Kilmarnock Museum’s president’s choice will receive an etched carafe.
