The September 15 event at Festival Halle in Reedville will benefit the Northumberland Family YMCA.
Auction items will include a week’s get-away for two in Kiawah Island, South Carolina; a week’s stay in Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania; two tickets to a Washington Redskins game; a low-country boil for 20 at “Roanoke”; a full-day charter fishing trip; and ten tons of bluestone, said Anthony.
Also on the block will be a two-hour boat cruise for a party of six; 20 five-gallon buckets of aged, organic “garden gold”; a one-hour airplane “fly-over” for two; and a weekend golf cart rental, she said.
During a cocktail social, the crowd will have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction, said Anthony. A catered, sit-down dinner will follow.
Among the silent auction items will be hand-crafted jewelry and ladies’ purses, a large selection of artwork and other home decor, tickets to concerts and plays, VIP wine tastings at several local vineyards, golfing greens fees, local restaurant gift certificates, private lessons for yoga, boxing or personal training and gift certificates for hair cuts or tanning, she said.
Dinner-auction tickets are $35. To buy tickets, call 580-8901. All proceeds from this event benefit the Guardian Program.
