The festival will open with a Lighting of the Trees cocktail Party Friday, December 6, and continue through Sunday, December 8, at the YMCA facilities, 39 William B. Graham Court, Kilmarnock.

Get ready for Christmas and help the community by attending the festival and bidding on items donated by local merchants, artists and craftsmen, said YMCA executive Mark Favazza.

“The array of available goods and experiences is truly astonishing,” said Favazza. “You can bid on everything from paddleboard lessons to oysters and shrimp, holiday decorations, spa services, and even school tuition. And that is just a small sample of what’s available.”

The festival benefits the Guardian Program, which provides crucial services, ranging from preschool programs to senior activities, to the citizens of Lancaster and surrounding counties, he said.
