The show is based on the Walt Disney movie, which was adapted from the book written by Hans Christian Anderson, said director Robin Blake.

“The set is fabulous, the costumes are exciting and the kids have worked really hard on their songs, dances and lines to bring the ‘magic’ to the stage,” said Blake.

The Drama Clubs are very appreciative of a grant from the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts which has made this play possible, she added.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Tickets will be available at the door.
