The fruit tree pruning cut shown here is used to stimulate growth for greater production.

“This is an opportunity to learn proper techniques for pruning and shaping fruit trees to keep them healthy and maximize fruit production,” said event leader John Lunsford. “Bring a pair of sharp hand bypass pruners, and dress for the weather.”

The clinic will be held regardless of cold or snow flurries. Cancellation due to rain will be broadcast on station WRAR FM (105.5).

The fee is $5 per person. Pre-registration is not required. For directions, call 580-5694, or visit nnmg.org.
