The featured speaker will be Charles Belfield whose ancestors came to Richmond County in 1700, reported Bob Denton.

Belfield represents the 10th generation of Belfields, all of whom lived on a tract of land known as Belle Mount Farm, “the home place,” where he resides. The discussion will include the quest for information about the many generations of the family, their participation in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the American Civil War, as well as important political happenings, said Denton.

Guests of members are invited to attend.
