The varsity Devils routed the Pointers, 21-1 and 11-2.

Josh Moore had the win in the first game, going the distance on the mound. Moore and Kyle Thomas hit two-run homers each to lead the Devils at the plate.

“And Daniel Thomas continued to hit the ball hard for us,” said LHS coach Welby Saunders.

Brandon Self put in three innings of work to pick up the win in the second game. Grant Long led Lancaster at bat in that contest.

“It was an all around good performance,” said Saunders. “We hit the ball about as well as any of our teams have.”

Lancaster had 26 hits in the two games.

The Devils will face Middlesex tonight (April 3) at 5 p.m. at Dream Fields near Kilmarnock.
