Tickets may be purchased at Lancaster High School, from any band member and by calling 577-3505, or 462-5100. Tickets also will be available at the door, the night of the concert.

“This concert has become a much anticipated production, as we have presented this many years in a row,” said band director Robbie Spiers. “Every year it is well attended, and enjoyed by both parents and the community.”

The awarding-winning bands will perform music from “Frozen,” “Les Mis,” “Sweet Charity” and “The Temptations,” as well as traditional marches, concert band material, the national anthem and modern contemporary selections. The LHS Glee Club will open up the second half, said Spiers.

The concert will mark the end of seven years of instrumental music for this year’s senior band members, he said. They will be introduced and honored before the last selection.

“What a great bunch of young adults,” said Spiers.”They will be greatly missed, and I just hope that their experiences in this band have taught them lessons that far surpass music. It has been my honor and privilege to know them and have taught them.”
