There also will be a handbell workshop at the high school from 1 to 4 p.m. on the day of the performance. Workshop classes will include weaving, techniques, treble and bass bells and “petting zoo” where participants see the bells and meet The Raleigh Ringers, reported Phyllis Neal.

Based in Raleigh, N.C., the Raleigh Ringers was founded in 1990. Directed by David M. Harris, the ensemble has dazzled audiences with interpretations of sacred, secular and popular music including rock’n’roll tunes arranged just for handbells.

Admission to the concert is by season subscription, or by individual performance: $25 adults, $5 students. To purchase tickets, or season subscriptions, visit rappahannockconcerts.org, or call the box office, 1-866-217-8149.
