Northeaster winding down

Some coastal flooding is expected to continue in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula today and tomorrow but the drenching three-day November northeaster is winding down.

Rain and wind began to moderate Friday and will gradually diminish tonight and Saturday as the storm moves out to sea. Two more cycles of abnormally high tides are predicted for Friday night and late Saturday morning.
