Everything is in place to make the move to the new school complex June 8, Stables said.
Schools will close June 4, about a week early this year, to facilitate the move and to give teachers time to make the transition before summer school begins.
Events are already being moved to the new school. Tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 28, the Reality Store program for middle and high school students will become the first event to take place at the new school.
On Monday, June 1, the students from the high school and middle school will be bussed to the new school to hear a special presentation from former NFL coach and ESPN commentator Dick Vermeil.
Graduation at this time is still scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. on the high school athletic field in Heathsville.
