Rev. Lloyd to serve
St. Stephen’s Episcopal

The Rev. Lucia Lloyd will be the priest in charge at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Heathsville starting September 1.
|
|
|
The community is invited to an outdoor welcoming and Eucharist Service, September 7 at 9 a.m. in the Parish House garden at 6538 Northumberland Highway.
Rev. Lloyd will join St. Stephen’s after three years as assistant rector at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Richmond.
Before seminary, Rev. Lloyd taught English at Linden Hall School, St. Margaret’s School and Rappahannock Community College. She also has served as a chaplain at MCV Hospital.
Her education includes a master’s in English from Middlebury College, an M.A.R. in religion and literature from Yale Divinity School, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary.
She lives in Tappahannock with her husband Marshall, a Latin teacher at St. Margaret’s School, and their two daughters.
