Irvington Baptist holds Youth Sunday
Irvington Baptist Church held Youth Sunday on April 25, 2004 with the youth conducting the entire 11 a.m. worship service.
Thirty-one young people participated: Raven Abbott, Christopher Bennett,
Clinton Bennett, Kyle Bennett, Matthew Bullis, Zachary Bullis, Erica Charnick,
Vince Charnick, Alexander Crittenden, Spencer Crittenden, Brooks Davis,
Holly Eppihimer, Andy Farmer, Christopher Farmer, Hill Fleet, Ariel Grulkowski,
Katelyn Ingram, Ford Kirkmyer, Caroline Merryman, Riley Molineaux, Kirsty
Mullican, Daniel Rasmussen, George Rasmussen, Jamerson Robertson, Brooke
Rowe, Justin Stewart, Kevin Stewart, Caitlin Tignor, Carter Tignor, K.C.
Tignor and Kelli Tignor.
Music included flute solos by K.C. Tignor and Caitlin Tignor, and a trumpet
duet by Christopher and Clinton Bennett. The Cherub Choir sang "Zacchaeus,"
"The B-I-B-L-E" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands."
The Youth Choir sang "Hallelu, Hallelu" and "I Have Decided
to Follow Jesus," with a solo by Kelli Tignor, "Amazing Grace."
Congregational songs were led by Kevin Stewart, Caroline Merryman, Kelli
Tignor, George Rasmussen, Clinton Bennett, Zachary Bullis, Raven Abbott,
Erica Charnick and Holly Eppihimer.
Door greeters were Kyle Bennett, Hill Fleet, Kirsty Mullican and Brooke
Rowe. Kevin Stewart gave the welcome and announcements. Prayers were led
by Daniel Rasmussen, Clinton Bennett, Justin Stewart and Holly Eppihimer.
The Bible verse was led by Hill Fleet.
Alexander Crittenden led the responsive reading and Ford Kirkmyer gave
the prayer concerns. Offering bearers were Matthew Bullis, Hill Fleet, Jamerson
Robertson and Carter Tignor. Youth pastors were Ariel Grulkowski and Christopher
Bennett.
Youth Choir director Hazel Farmer thanks all the young people who worked
hard for six weeks to make Youth Sunday 2004 a special day. She also thanks
Rev. John Farmer for his support, the musicians, Gloria Jones and Jimmy
Andrews, and the parents and other family members who helped the children
get to the practices.
