Fred is Birchett named Redskins
High school Coach of the Week

The Washington Redskins announced November 9 that lancaster High School head football coach Fred Birchett has been named Redskins High School Coach of the Week for the week of November 1, 2010.
|

|
The Redskins High School Coach of the Week program is designed to recognize and reward excellence in high school football coaching.
Coach Birchett has been coaching football for more than 27 years. This is his third season as head coach at LHS.
During his career, he has received numerous football coaching awards including Virginia High School Coaches Association State Football Coach of the Year (1997), Coach of the Year, Touchdown Club of Richmond (1997, 1999 and 2001) and Virginia High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year- East (2003).
The Red Devils are currently 7-1.
