The boys and girls of summer hit the playing fields last Saturday at Dreamfields for the opening day of Lancaster County Little League. Events included a morning ceremony featuring prize drawings, a performance by the Northern Neck Baytones, a flyby by Omega Protein Inc. spotter pilot Henry Dixon and the induction of 2009 Northern Neck Sports Wall of Fame members John Christopher and Jack Eades.
